Here are some pictures and videos I took with my Go Pro Hero 2 at Daytona International Speedway for our Grand-AM Continental Tire Series 2008 Porsche Boxster sponsored by Mac Papers and Colours, Inc. After qualifying 24th and starting the race in wet rainy conditions we had a strong 9th place finish with a brand new car for the Autometrics Motorsports team. This was my 1st race on the team and it was an awesome experience.

We started 31st and finished 20th. We were as high as 12th place, but an unfortunate Stop & Go + 10 seconds penalty dropped us back.
AM Performance took a stock Nissan 370Z and built it into the #05 NISMO 370Z Grand Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race car in a couple weeks of very long days full of welding, fabricating, wiring, machining, gallons of coffee, cases of Red Bull, and incredible effort, skill and work ethic. Watch in 7 minutes as the build comes together, while the #04 sits next to it, getting heavy modifications and service after it's last race at VIR. Both cars were on track at Laguna Seca less than eight hours after the end of this video!
