Izod Lotus: I made this version based on comments of trackforum, so I correct the misspelled SeAbring and I removed the background music, I hope you will enjoy more now. Izod Lotus adding some miles to their car as part of their test schedule prior the 2012 season. Simona de Silvestro was in charge of the Lotus-powered HVM Racing car for the session, and she completed 161 laps over the course of the eight hours of testing and was more than ready for a break by the end of the day. De Silvestro was joined out on track by Honda cars driven by Simon Pagenaud (Sam Schmidt Motorsports) and Scott Dixon (Target Chip Ganassi Racing), and by five cars running Chevrolet engines: Penske's Helio Castroneves and Ryan Briscoe; Panther Racing's JR Hildebrand; KV Racing's Tony Kanaan; and Andretti Autosport's Marco Andretti.
F1 star Jenson Button and newly crowned IndyCar champion Dario Franchitti were among a host of top racing drivers all competing in a very special two-hour endurance kart race staged at Daytona Milton Keynes to commemorate the life and many achievements of their friend Dan Wheldon. Daytona Milton Keynes kart track was the perfect venue to honor the much loved and admired Wheldon, the double Indianapolis 500 winner and former IndyCar Champion who tragically lost his life in the final round of this year's IZOD IndyCar Series at Las Vegas in October. Friend and event organiser Johnny Mowlem chose the Daytona Milton Keynes venue, located just 10 minutes away from Dan's hometown of Emberton, as this first class outdoor kart facility was the perfect place to accommodate the high number of friends and fund-raisers all wanting to give Dan the best possible 'send-off'. 2011 Edmonton Indy Qualifying IZOD IndyCar Series Edmonton City Centre Airport July 23, 2011 I'm back for a new year of uploading. I'm about finished converting my tapes to DVDs, so now I will have more time to upload. This is a teaser upload and then I'll be able to post what I have on my list in the next few weeks. This video is the VS qualifying show for the 2011 Edmonton Indy. Unfortunately I do not have VS HD, but I just wanted to post what I have to start off the year. The race is already posted on YouTube. Beaux Barfield, former Race Director for the American LeMans series, has been named Race Director for the IZOD IndyCar series The Drive Channel has learned. Barfield is an experienced driver, race control director and racing official.
